The Queen's Red Balloons

This is my subtle attempt to mix both themes, 99 red balloons, and through the looking glass. My goal was to accomplish this and still have a piece of art that stands alone even without the tag of the two themes.

I had a lot of fun with this, it took me about 5-6 hours or so total. I was surprised at how well balloons take paint, but not as surprised as I was when the oil based paint reacted with the latex balloons *POP* I've got red paint in otherwise unexplainable places now haha! I've got a heck of a lot of balloons to figure out what to do with now!
